Important Shipping Update - BC Floods

Hi everyone,

We continue to navigate the challenges presented by the flooding and extreme weather in BC. The situation is rapidly evolving and we will provide as many updates from the couriers and warehouses as possible.

To start with the good news: Ground service with Purolator has resumed for packages travelling in, out and within BC. There are select postal codes in areas of Abbotsford and Chilliwack that have been severely affected by road closures where delivery is still not possible, but the vast majority of service has resumed.

Additionally, any Ground or Express shipments sent from our Calgary or Mississauga locations destined for British Columbia will shipped with UPS at this time. There is no need to do anything different in the checkout, as our warehouses will automatically switch the shipping method when the order is being entered.

That being said, we are still seeing some packages that are experiencing varying delays based on a number of factors. It’s important to note that this is not consistent across the board; many orders are still being delivered within 1-2 business days, however, this isn’t something that we can predict or guarantee. Many shipping depots are dealing with a large backlog of packages that accumulated during the service disruptions and processing this excess of shipments will take some time. This is not exclusive to BC; the ripple affect of the service disruptions has extended to other areas of the country as well.

If your package appears to be stuck In Transit, or only shows the scan ‘Shipping Label Created’, our service team can assist. However, since most couriers – Purolator and UPS included – have stated to expect delays of up to two weeks, it makes it more challenging for us to open cases until that window of time has passed without any new scans or updates.

That being said, we are committed to do our very best to work with you so we can get your orders fulfilled. We understand that December is a very busy time for many of you with the upcoming holiday season, and we take these issues seriously.

Your understanding and patience during this time is deeply appreciated! Please reach out to us with any questions or concerns at 1-604-288-8383, or by email at sales@blankshirts.ca
